Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is known to be the most important functional unsaturated fatty acid in the world during the last 20 years. It occurs naturally in small quantities in various meats and dairy products. CLA is the trivial name to a series of C18 fatty acids with conjugated double bonds. CLA is proved to be of inhibiting growth of cancerous tumors, enhancing immunity, discouraging accumulation of cholesterol in the blood, promoting youthful metabolic function and reducing body fat, and so on. CLA is developed to the health foods of anti-cancer, losing-weight, enhancing-growth, and also is used for food/feed additives, cosmetic and medicines.
CLA-80 is used mainly in food additives, health foods and medicines. CLA's RAD is 3-4 g for adults.
